These Referral Program Terms ("Program Terms") govern participation in the
referral program offered by Taylor Media Group LLC, a
California limited liability company and operator of The Assessment Library
("we," "us," or "our"). They supplement, and are part of, our
Terms and Conditions
and Privacy Policy. By sharing a
referral code, signing up with one, or earning or redeeming a referral reward,
you agree to these Program Terms. If you do not agree, do not participate.
1. Eligibility
- An active subscription is required. Only an account with a current, active subscription (such as the Unlimited Family plan) can generate a referral code and take part in the referral program. If you do not have an active subscription, the program is unavailable to you until you subscribe.
- If your subscription lapses or you cancel, your referral code is paused — it will not work for new referrals while your subscription is inactive. It reactivates automatically as the same code once your subscription is in good standing again. Rewards you have already earned are not affected by a lapse or cancellation (see Section 7).
- This is an adult-only feature for the account holder. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live). Children and child profiles cannot take part in, generate codes for, or earn from the program.
- Your account must be in good standing.
- The program is for personal, non-commercial referrals of people you know. It is not for paid promotion, advertising, or bulk distribution.
2. How referrals work
- Each account has a unique referral code, available from your dashboard.
- A new customer may enter up to two referral codes when they create their account.
- A code must be entered at sign-up to count toward the program; it cannot be added afterward.
- Two codes do not change the new customer's discount. Whether one or two codes are used, the referred person receives the same single discount (it does not stack or double) — but each valid code credits a reward to its own referrer (see Sections 3 and 4).
3. What the referred person receives
- A new customer who creates an account with a valid referral code and subscribes to the Unlimited Family plan saves $5.00 per month off their first three months (a total of up to $15.00). On the annual plan, an equivalent one-time $15.00 discount is applied instead.
- The discount is applied automatically at checkout through our payment processor and applies to the Unlimited Family plan only.
- The discount is the same whether one or two referral codes are used — it is not doubled or stacked.
- The referral discount cannot be combined with other offers except where we expressly allow it.
4. What the referrer earns
- You earn $5.00 for each person who signs up with your referral code and pays for their first month of a subscription.
- If a new customer enters two codes at sign-up, each of the two referring accounts earns its own $5.00 reward (the new customer's discount stays the same — see Section 3).
- A reward is earned only when the referred person completes their first successful subscription payment. One-time purchases (such as credit packs or a Full DISC Report) do not qualify.
- Earned rewards are credited to your referral balance, which you can view and manage from your dashboard.
5. Limits & fair use
- You may not refer yourself or create accounts to redeem your own code. Self-referrals, and the same person's code applied more than once to a sign-up, do not qualify.
- Rewards obtained through spam, misrepresentation, fake or duplicate accounts, automated means, or other abuse are void.
- We may withhold, reverse, or void rewards and suspend or remove your participation if we reasonably believe the program is being misused.
- There is no cap on how many people you may refer or how much you may earn, and earned balances do not expire.
6. Reversals (refunds & chargebacks)
If a referred person's qualifying payment is later refunded or charged back, the
related reward is reversed and removed from your balance. If a reversal occurs
after you have already redeemed the reward, the reversed amount may be deducted
from your future referral balance.
7. Redeeming your rewards
- You may apply your referral balance to your own subscription as account credit, or request a cash payout.
- Your earned balance never expires, and cancelling your subscription does not forfeit it. Your balance remains available to redeem — cash payouts stay available, while applying the balance as subscription credit requires an active subscription.
- Cash payouts require a minimum balance of $25.00 and are sent by the method you select (for example, PayPal). Please allow reasonable time for review and processing.
- Referral rewards have no cash value except as expressly provided by the cash-payout option, are non-transferable, and may not be sold or assigned.
8. Taxes
You are responsible for any taxes that apply to rewards you receive. Cash payouts
may be reportable income. We may require valid tax or payment information before
issuing a payout and may report payments to tax authorities where required by law.
9. Changes & termination
We may modify, suspend, or end the referral program, or change reward amounts,
discounts, and eligibility, at any time. Changes apply going forward. Balances you
have already earned will be honored under the terms in effect when they were
earned, except where a change is necessary to prevent abuse or to comply with law.
10. Relationship to our Terms
These Program Terms supplement and form part of our
Terms and Conditions. If
there is a conflict between the two regarding the referral program, these Program
Terms control for that program. Capitalized terms that are not defined here have
the meaning given in our Terms and Conditions.
